Calendar Update!

Wow the weather has done damage to our calendars at CHS/CSHS.

An UPDATE on days...

CHS/CSHS will return to the published calendar on March 16 after Spring Break. This does mean we will have a B day when we return from vacation.

In addition, with two bad weather days to make up we have slated those already to be set, April 3 as a B day and May 22 an A day.

Once again:
March 16: B day
April 3: B day
May 22: A day

2015 Teacher of the Year

CHS would like to congratulate our Teacher of the Year, Jessi Valles!

The CHS staff nominated individuals to be considered for this honor by writing a brief discription of why each teacher is so deserving of this honor. Based off of these nominations the following teachers were considered:

 Daphne Adkison, PAP Chemistry Teacher
Dainita Barton, American Sign Language Teacher
Donna Hinz, AP Social Studies Teacher
Keeley Lowery, AP & GT Biology Teacher and Department Chair
Candace Neal, Librarian
Jessi Valles, Algebra 2 Teacher

The staff had the opportunity to vote for the teacher of their choice  and identified Mrs. Valles to represent CHS this year. We would like to congratulate her on this honor and thank her for her dedication to the community and most importantly to all of our students. She pushes for excellence every day and this is our opportunity to provide her acknowledgement for her excellence.
